Investigations are ongoing after two 18-year-old men died following a suspicious house fire at Garbutt.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Chandler Street around 3.00pm on Friday.
An 18-year-old Garbutt man and an 18-year-old Bohle man, were both initially transported to Townsville University Hospital with serious burns.
The Garbutt man died in hospital that night, while the Bohle man was airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital, where he passed away from his injuries on Saturday morning.
Two other male occupants who were at the address at the time of the fire were not physically injured.
Anyone with information is being urged to contact police.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing, and officers are appealing to members of the public who may have relevant CCTV or dashcam vision to come forward.
