Two men have been arrested after escaping the Townsville Correctional Centre Low Custody Male Farm on Wednesday.
The 34-year-old and 22-year-old men were located by the dog squad at 2.30am today, after they abandoned an alleged stolen Kia Picanto along Putt Street in Railway Estate.
They were arrested without further incident and have been returned to custody.
Both have been charged with one count of escape lawful custody and other property related offences and are expected to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court today.
A 28-year-old prisoner is still on the run.
Daimien Gary Richard Izzard is currently serving 2 years 6 months for Drive under the influence of alcohol or other substance.
