The Cowboys have launched their flood assistance package for North Queenslanders, with more than 60 thousand dollars in funds, tickets and equipment.

The support raised by the club and its partners is set to be delivered to North Queenslanders in places like Ingham, Tully, and Cardwell as well as local grassroot rugby clubs.

Cowboys CEO Jeff Reibel says it was a no-brainer for the team, with each playing knowing that “to be a Cowboy is to be a North Queenslander.”

He hopes the funds help grassroots cubs get back on their feet.

Two-hundred and fifty double passes will also be gifted to flood affected residents for the home opener against the Sharks on March 15.

Eligible residents can register for tickers on the Cowboys website.
