Darryl Valroy Young – the man accused of shooting and killing three of his neighbours at a cattle property in Bogie – has appeared in court for the first time.
Mr Young, 59, appeared via video link at Proserpine Magistrates Court, charged with the triple-murder of Mervyn and Maree Schwarz and her son – Graham Tighe.
He is also charged with the attempted murder of Ross Tighe – Graham’s brother and Maree’s son – who was shot in the abdomen and flown to Mackay Hospital.
Ross remains in hospital, in a stable condition.
