KAP’s Robbie Katter, is calling for the resignation of two senior executives at Powerlink following a potential conflict of interest, that may have contributed to their failure to deliver on Copperstring.
The project has attracted criticism for cost blowouts over the last three years, increasing from 1.8bn in 2021 to 9bn by late 2024.

He says the revelations that Board Chair Kathy Hirschfeld may have a conflict of interest and Powerlinks incompetence must be addressed.
