Police have launched a homicide investigation following the death of a 47-year-old woman in Garbutt
At around 1.45pm yesterday officers were called to a unit on Chandler Street for a welfare check, where they found the woman deceased.
A crime scene was declared and investigations into the circumstances of her death are underway.
