A man has been stabbed during an armed robbery at Aitkenvale.
Police will allege that around 4.25pm on Saturday at a shopping centre on Ross River Road, three boys approached a man entering his vehicle in the carpark.
It is alleged that one boy entered the vehicle and the other demanded the car keys.
The boys have allegedly stolen the man’s wallet, mobile phone and garage remote from the vehicle.
One boy is accused of stabbing the man in his right calf causing a deep laceration to his leg.
The victim was transported to the Townsville University Hospital for treatment.
Three boys aged 15, 16 and 17 have been charged with offences including armed robbery in company with violence, unlawful entry of a vehicle and attempted enter dwelling.
They are set to appear in the Townsville’s Childrens Court.
